Find Your Model

READ THE FULL NAME

Start with the piano you actually own.

The exact model is the first detail to establish before using connection, pedal or troubleshooting instructions. A family name or a retailer’s shortened listing may leave out a meaningful suffix.

Where to look

Check the model marking on the instrument, its identification label, the original paperwork or the manufacturer’s documentation. Use the manufacturer’s guidance to locate the label safely; do not move or tip a heavy instrument on your own.

Make your model record

  • Brand and complete model name, including letters after the number
  • Region of purchase when regional differences are relevant
  • Manual title, edition and language
  • Exact accessory number for a compatibility question
  • Receiving device, operating system and app for a connection question
Keep serial numbers private.

You can use a model name to research documentation without posting a serial number publicly. Share identifiers with manufacturer support only when needed.

Find the official documentation

Use the manufacturer’s support or manual search, enter the complete model name and confirm that the document covers your version. Check accessory documentation as well as the piano manual.
